We worked with a different property manager and they left the business. Fortunately, they recommended Rose to us. The management of the property is even better now than it was with our original property manager. I know that I can call Rose and get any issues resolved quickly.
Rose and Dawn are knowledgeable in their field and professional. I so appreciate their high standards of service as well as their no-nonsense approach to managing rental property. Of great value is the fact that they know how to find and keep good tenants. Their honest, hard work leaves us confident that our property is in good hands. I am constantly recommending R & C Realty to people needing any help with real estate matters.
Rose has been a phenomenal property manager. She is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about real estate. She does an excellent job screening tenants and I feel very much at ease as an owner, utilizing her services. If you are considering having your property rented, look no further than Rose and R&C. Terrible experience. They took over in the middle of our lease and were the deciding factor on us not renewing. Any questions or maintenance issues took a lot of poking to get anything done. Move out process was also painful, and the women running things either didn't respond to questions (voicemail and email), or would send 1 to 2 word emails with no useful information. Would not rent through them again.EDIT: Chase Carroll is not my legal name, so it won't show under that. If you read my review, you will see I said R & C Real Estate was the deciding factor for us to not renew. This means it was decided before we turned in our notice and started the move out process. There are enough negative reviews about R & C Real Estate online, it's not hard to corroborate my own.
They are only interested in cheating you for more money! When we moved in, the house was so dirty (including the yard). Pee in the toilets without the water on for months... We looked past it and enjoyed a year lease. We always paid on time and even hired maids to make sure when we moved out the house was in perfect condition. We really needed our deposit back. Not only is it Christmas time, but we did everything that was asked of us plus more and we were not even given the same respect when we moved in. All that work to make sure the house was great for them and they still didn't give us our deposit in full. They took a cleaning fee and charged us to turn utilities back on. We tried to contact them and no one will respond. I'm really sad and disappointed. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing as us.
My wife and I live in California and having Rose manage our condo in Arizona has made a big difference. She and her staff are on top of everything and if there's a problem they take care of it right away. Whether I call or email her, she or someone from her office is always ready to help with the utmost professionalism. So even though we're so far away my wife and I can be at ease knowing that our condo is being well-taken care by R&C Real Estate.

jeanie Miller is very rude and unprofessional. left her a voicemail that we wanted to see a property and gave her a date and time. she never called back until the following day well after the time I had requested to see. when I questioned her about that she was rude and snippy with her reply. clearly not interested in renting a property with that attitude. glad it ended there. would hate to rent from someone like that.
We have been very pleased with our experience with R&C East Valley Property Management. We don't live in the same state as our rental property, and Rose takes care of everything for us for a reasonable fee. She located a good tenant for us and has taken care of any repairs with reasonable, good quality contractors. It's a big relief.
The ladies running R&C are extremely rude and unresponsive, when you ask any questions their responses are so short and brief you always feel rushed when inquiring about anything. Maintenance requests are never responded to and good luck trying to get someone to respond to an email or voicemail. I am not sure how they deal with their clients but they treat their tenants as though they do not matter. I cannot believe business owners communicate- rather, lack in communicating in the manner that business owners should. Someone needs to get a hold of the owners one way or another to advise them of the actual service their property management company provides to their tenants. This is the worst experience ever, and cannot wait until this nightmare ends. I will continue to share this experience via social media and any other source of communication to ensure that other tenants do not go through this experience. Disturbed tenant -
When I needed to move, I was nervous to rent out my house to wait out the housing crash. Rose at R&C walked me through the process and helped me weigh the risks. The R&C team has always been very helpful, responsive, professional and HONEST. They have a very thorough screening process for tenants to minimize the risk of damage to the property, late rent or even upset neighbors. Most months I don't even think about the old property until I see the rent deposit and monthly statement show up.
We have used R & C Real Estate for the past 3 years to help manage our rental while we have been away at school and could not have been happier. We truely felt that they had our best interest and would highly recommend them.
I have been with R & C for a year now, and I am very satisfied with their service. The last thing on earth I ever wanted to be was a landlord, and I definitely did not want my beautiful house to become a rental. When searching for a property manager, I left messages with several companies, and most never even called me back. However, Rose responded promptly, and gave me straightforward answers to all of my questions. Her knowledge and years of experience in property management made me feel much more comfortable about renting out my home. R & C found a quality tenant who always pays on time, and who is taking good care of the property. This has turned out to be a positive experience-- in fact, there is so little to worry about, I often forget I have a rental home. I have referred several friends to R & C without hesitation.
Slumlords. Avoid renting from them at all costs. They will take forever to fix anything, and when they do use the cheapest parts possible so it will only just break again. They have come out with the owner ONE time to do a walk through in the 4 yrs we've rented from them. They never ever do any routine maintenance, like service the AC unit, flush the water heater, clean the dryer vents...it's ridiculous how little they care about this property. You can tell all these reviews so far have been planted or paid for...let's see how long it takes them to delete this one.
I’m a tenant in one the many properties the company manages. The company acquired the lease after two months of living in the rental property. So far so good, much better than the previous property management company. I put my work orders in via online; the maintenance man comes right out to repair ASAP. Any questions I may have I shot a quick email. I receive a response within 24 hours. I’m pleased with the company. No issues at this time. Easy to work with.
Avoid leasing from them AT ALL COST. We had nothing but issues in our lease with this company. Mike, our lease agent, was incredibly unresponsive when we had issues. Over the course of the two years we lived in our home, our A/C went out 14 times. Near the end of our issues, I contacted the homeowner directly who informed me that our lease agent hadn’t been communicating the issues to him. Our final straw was when we were without AC for 5 days in August. We weren’t offered ANY refund or concession on our rent even though we’d been perfect tenants for nearly 2 years.We were told by Mike there were no bug issues, when the summer months hit, scorpions everywhere. Guess who didn’t pay for extermination? You got it!Upon move out, we were told we needed to pay to have the carpets cleaned, when we had already paid a 200 carpet cleaning deposit to R&C.
this place is horrible. you move out leaving the house looking better than when you moved in and they keep most of your deposit. I demanded receipts for the cleaning that had to be done and was emailed a fake receipt with a made up company in an apartment unit. Weird thing is I paid a professional cleaning company to detail the place before move out. House had termites and they never took care of it. pools outer concrete was lifting badly so everytime we went swimming chunks would get into the pool. These old ladies are the scum of the earth, the entire last month we were there they had people walking through our house every day while my girlfriend is pregnant and we were packing up. Totally unprofessional. KARMA KARMA KARMA for dawn and rose the scam artists.
We have used Rose as our property manager for our rental house in AZ for the last 2 years, and have been very happy with the service we have received. Rose and Dawn have always communicated with me promptly with any issues and found quality tenants very quickly( 2 weeks). I thought having a rental property was going to be a hassle, but using R & C has made it quite painless. I have recommended them to several friends in the East Valley looking for a property manager.

Worst company I've ever dealt with in any capacity in 34 years. They raised the rate $100 while I was living there saying to hire someone to do the yard. There was never any one that came to do anything. When I asked about it they just said it was still my responsibility between when someone came. I know as a fact there was never anyone there. I just moved out and got almost none of my security deposit back. The house was left a lot nicer than when I moved in. They actually took money for things that were there before I moved in. If you're considering renting don't give them a second look. Also notice the only good reviews are from people renting out their house and not renters...I wouldn't be surprised if the whole company is a scam.
I just signed a lease with them last month, thus far they have been amazing. I put in a service order, they called the next day to schedule an appointment, and had it fixed the following day. That is amazing customer care. They make it easy to pay online, and the staff is amazing. They came to me when the paperwork needed to be signed. I highly recommend them!
Overall the company has been great! We are in a second year of a lease with them and have not had a problem. Matinence request are made online through a tenant portal and you can see your request, when they respond and when it's complete. I also think alot of things depend on the owner and how they direct the company to handle things. Honestly we think we have a good owner as request for repairs have never been turned down and handled promptly. The original agent wasn't that great and didn't answer questions and wasn't very friendly, that is the reason I didn't give it a 5 star. The ladies in the office have always treated me well. If you're good to them they will be good to you.
Rose and Dawn have been great and easy to work with. They have done a great job keeping me informed on my property as well as easing my mind about problems that may arise.! I cannot say enough good things about this company!!!!!
I work in Japan and having Rose manage my rental house has been a blessing. She has kept the place repaired and occupied for the last 3 years. Some people talk about the economy, she makes it work. Without her services, I would have lost the my house in a foreclosure but with her ability to keep it rented until I could find work, I have not only kept the house rented but now am re-financing it so I have an even better positive cash flow. Way to go Rose!

They have a history of keeping deposits. They send a very generic charge list and never tell you what was not cleaned or damaged. We cleaned too to bottom and had a neighbor that is a realtor check it out too. The ladies are super rude and grumpy. They act like they are above you. I would stay far away. We had great neighbors that were renting out their homes and I warned them not to use R&C. Hopefully they start to be a little more honest but I doubt it. Look up Google reviews and you will see all the tenants have complained. I also filed a complaint with the real estate board.I have a video and pictures of the property. They will do all they can to keep your money.
Living in Australia, I need to be sure I have someone looking after my valuable assets I can trust and rely on. Rose and her team manage my investment property in Scottsdale and so far they have done a great job.
I bought my property in Gilbert AZ , hoping to use it as our retirement home. But unexpected circumstances had forced me to rent it out. Without the expertise and smooth management takeover that Rose and her team did I would have been lost since I live in the San Francisco , Ca. I feel very comfortable with the way they handle and manage my property. They are only a phone call away and they really live up to my expectations on how property management is handled.
